Chad Gerber, Director of IVD Oligonucleotide Manufacturing

Biosearch is very excited to introduce our new Director of IVD Oligonucleotide Manufacturing, Chad Gerber. Chad graduated from the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse and began his career in 2000 at the innovative molecular diagnostic company Third Wave Technologies (TWT).

Among his many contributions to TWT, Chad assisted with the development, production, and submission of FDA approved 510K products, including UGT1A1 and CF Inplex. He orchestrated efforts in process validation to submit the HPV IVD product to Premarket Approval. He has led audits of the manufacturing department, and worked closely with QA to assist with process documentation, failure investigations, and the implementation of Corrective And Preventative Action plans.

With his valuable accomplishments, Chad rose to the position of Director of Manufacturing at TWT. His experience directing the manufacture of IVD and ASR products in a regulated environment will bolster Biosearch’s already capable IVD oligonucleotide manufacturing team. We have come to know Chad well over the years, and are very happy to welcome him to the Biosearch family.
