Nico Tuason
Senior Product Manager

Biosearch is excited to introduce our new Senior Product Manager, Nico Tuason. Nico graduated from UC Davis and began his biotech career at Operon Technologies, Inc., where he worked with R&D to launch oligonucleotide sets for microarrays. He then moved to Gorilla Genomics to market off-the-shelf molecular beacon assays for real-time PCR.

Most recently, Nico was a product manager at Applied Biosystems, managing the TaqMan Gene Expression Assays and the TaqMan Low Density Arrays. During his time at Applied Biosystems, he worked with manufacturing and R&D to improve the quality and turnaround times of those products. He also launched numerous products including the TaqMan PreAmp Master Mix.

As a new addition to Biosearch Technologies, Nico will focus his efforts on improving Biosearch's current line of qPCR probes and primers in addition to launching new, innovative products in the real-time PCR arena.
