Luminex Technology Overview
Luminex's xMAP technology features 100 distinct, color coded beads each coated with a reagent specific to an assay such as an oligonucleotide conjugate. The beads are excited and detected by laser, which allows users to analyze readings based on the color coding that identifies each bead. With such flexibility and precision, Luminex's xMAP technology enables users to rapidly multiplex up to 100 assays at a time with reduced cost and labor.
