Stellaris® FISH Probes, Human DCX with Quasar® 670 Dye consists of a set of dye-labeled oligos mixed and pooled into a final delivered amount of 5 nmol, which yields approximately 200-400 hybridizations under standard conditions. Designed to detect DCX transcripts in specimens using fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH). Design Criteria: Product was designed against doublecortin DCX a.k.a. DC; DBCN; LISX; SCLH; XLIS (NCBI gene ID:1641) and nucleotides 96-1048, 1064-1158, 1162-1792 of NM_001195553.1 . This is an inclusive probe set designed to recognize: NM_001195553.1, NM_000555, NM_178151, NM_178152, NM_178153 The probe set has not been tested for potential cross-hybridization to RNA(s) of paralogous and orthologous gene(s) in the same or other species.

Properties:

  • Absorption Maximum (Lambda Max):

    647

  • Fluorescence Maximum:

Product usage:

Please note that reconstituted probe mix should be subjected to a minimum number of freeze-thaw cycles. For daily and short-term use, the mix can be stored at +2 to +8 °C in the dark for up to a month. For long-term use: We recommend freezing reconstituted probes in the dark at -15 to -30 °C for storage lasting longer than a month. Protocols: Detailed protocols by sample type can be found here: https://www.biosearchtech.com/stellarisprotocols.
