Stellaris® FISH Probes, Mouse Foxp2 with Quasar® 670 Dye consists of a set of dye-labeled oligos mixed and pooled into a final delivered amount of 5 nmol, which yields approximately 200-400 hybridizations under standard conditions. Designed to detect Foxp2 transcripts in specimens using fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH). Design Criteria: Product was designed against forkhead box P2 Foxp2 a.k.a. CAG-16; D0Kist7; AI449000; 2810043D05Rik (NCBI gene ID:114142) and nucleotides 663-918, 919-2804 of NM_053242.4. This is an inclusive probe set designed to also detect the following variants: NM_001286607.1, NM_212435.1, and XM_011241038.1 The probe set has not been tested for potential cross-hybridization to RNA(s) of paralogous and orthologous gene(s) in the same or other species.

Product usage:

Please note that reconstituted probe mix should be subjected to a minimum number of freeze-thaw cycles. For daily and short-term use, the mix can be stored at +2 to +8 °C in the dark for up to a month. For long-term use: We recommend freezing reconstituted probes in the dark at -15 to -30 °C for storage lasting longer than a month. Protocols: Detailed protocols by sample type can be found here: https://www.biosearchtech.com/stellarisprotocols.
