Stellaris® FISH Probes, Human SETD2 with CAL Fluor® Red 635 consists of a set of dye-labeled oligos mixed and pooled into a final delivered amount of 5 nmol, which yields approximately 200-400 hybridizations under standard conditions. Designed to detect SETD2 transcripts in specimens using fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH). Design Criteria: Product was designed against SET domain containing 2 SETD2 a.k.a. HYPB; SET2; HIF-1; HIP-1; KMT3A; HBP231; HSPC069; p231HBP (NCBI gene ID:29072) and nucleotides 124-2124 of NM_014159.6. This is an inclusive probe set designed to also detect the following variants: NM_014159.6, XM_011533632.1, XM_011533631.1, XM_011533634.1, XR_940418.1, XR_940420.1, XR_940419.1, XM_011533633.1 The probe set has not been tested for potential cross-hybridization to RNA(s) of paralogous and orthologous gene(s) in the same or other species.

Properties:

  • Absorption Maximum (Lambda Max):

    618

  • Fluorescence Maximum:

Product usage:

Please note that reconstituted probe mix should be subjected to a minimum number of freeze-thaw cycles. For daily and short-term use, the mix can be stored at +2 to +8 °C in the dark for up to a month. For long-term use: We recommend freezing reconstituted probes in the dark at -15 to -30 °C for storage lasting longer than a month. Protocols: Detailed protocols by sample type can be found here: https://www.biosearchtech.com/stellarisprotocols.
