Stellaris® FISH Probes, Mouse Necab2 with Quasar® 570 Dye consists of a set of dye-labeled oligos mixed and pooled into a final delivered amount of 5 nmol, which yields approximately 200-400 hybridizations under standard conditions. Designed to detect Necab2 transcripts in specimens using fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH). Design Criteria: Product was designed against N-terminal EF-hand calcium binding protein 2 Necab2 a.k.a. Efcbp2 (NCBI gene ID:117148) and nucleotides 681-1971 of NM_054095.2. This is an inclusive probe set designed to also detect the following variants: XM_006530583, AK035168, AK082727, BC115857, BC115963, BC107384, BC107385. The probe set has not been tested for potential cross-hybridization to RNA(s) of paralogous and orthologous gene(s) in the same or other species.

Properties:

  • Absorption Maximum (Lambda Max):

Product usage:

Please note that reconstituted probe mix should be subjected to a minimum number of freeze-thaw cycles. For daily and short-term use, the mix can be stored at +2 to +8 °C in the dark for up to a month. For long-term use: We recommend freezing reconstituted probes in the dark at -15 to -30 °C for storage lasting longer than a month. Protocols: Detailed protocols by sample type can be found here: https://www.biosearchtech.com/stellarisprotocols.
