Stellaris® FISH Probes, Human BCAS3 with CAL Fluor® Red 635 consists of a set of dye-labeled oligos mixed and pooled into a final delivered amount of 5 nmol, which yields approximately 200-400 hybridizations under standard conditions. Designed to detect BCAS3 transcripts in specimens using fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH). Design Criteria: Product was designed against breast carcinoma amplified sequence 3 BCAS3 a.k.a. MAAB; GAOB1 (NCBI gene ID:54828) and nucleotides 513-1595, 1596-1746, 1747-2138, 2139-2534 of NM_017679.3. This is an inclusive probe set designed to detect the following variants: NM_017679.3, NM_001099432.1, XM_011524939.1, XM_011524940.1, XM_011524941.1, XM_011524942.1, XM_011524943.1, XM_011524944.1, XM_011524945.1, XM_011524946.1, XM_011524947.1, XM_011524948.1, XM_011524949.1, XM_011524950.1, XM_011524951.1, XM_011524952.1, XM_005257472.1, XM_005257475.1, and partially XR_934493.1. The probe set has not been tested for potential cross-hybridization to RNA(s) of paralogous and orthologous gene(s) in the same or other species.

Product usage:

Please note that reconstituted probe mix should be subjected to a minimum number of freeze-thaw cycles. For daily and short-term use, the mix can be stored at +2 to +8 °C in the dark for up to a month. For long-term use: We recommend freezing reconstituted probes in the dark at -15 to -30 °C for storage lasting longer than a month. Protocols: Detailed protocols by sample type can be found here: https://www.biosearchtech.com/stellarisprotocols.
