Stellaris® FISH Probes, Human FGFR2 with Quasar® 670 consists of a set of dye-labeled oligos mixed and pooled into a final delivered amount of 5 nmol, which yields approximately 200-400 hybridizations under standard conditions. Designed to detect FGFR2 transcripts in specimens using fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH). Design Criteria: Product was designed against fibroblast growth factor receptor 2 FGFR2 a.k.a. BEK; JWS; BBDS; CEK3; CFD1; ECT1; KGFR; TK14; TK25; BFR-1; CD332; K-SAM (NCBI gene ID:2263) and nucleotides 498-756, 1102-1395, 1935-2948 of NM_000141.4. This is an inclusive probe set design to detect the following variants: NM_000141.4, NM_022970.3, NM_023029.2, NR_073009.1, NM_001144913.1, NM_001144914.1, NM_001144915.1, NM_001144916.1, NM_001144917.1, NM_001144918.1, NM_001144919.1, and XM_006717708.2, XM_006717709.2, XM_006717710.2, XM_006717711.2, XM_006717712.2, XM_006717713.2, and partly XM_011539510.1. The probe set has not been tested for potential cross-hybridization to RNA(s) of paralogous and orthologous gene(s) in the same or other species.

Properties:

  • Absorption Maximum (Lambda Max):

    647

  • Fluorescence Maximum:

Product usage:

Please note that reconstituted probe mix should be subjected to a minimum number of freeze-thaw cycles. For daily and short-term use, the mix can be stored at +2 to +8 °C in the dark for up to a month. For long-term use: We recommend freezing reconstituted probes in the dark at -15 to -30 °C for storage lasting longer than a month. Protocols: Detailed protocols by sample type can be found here: https://www.biosearchtech.com/stellarisprotocols.

Storage and handling:

  • Shipping conditions:

    Ambient

  • Storage conditions:

    +2 to +8 °C
