Stellaris® FISH Probes, GFP with Quasar® 670 Dye consists of a set of dye-labeled oligos mixed and pooled into a final delivered amount of 5 nmol, which yields approximately 200-400 hybridizations under standard conditions. Designed to detect GFP transcripts in specimens using fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH). Design Criteria: Product was designed against Green Fluorescent Protein GFP a.k.a. wtGFP, GFPs65t (NCBI gene ID:) and nucleotides 1110-1823 of GQ334691.1. This is an inclusive probe set designed to also detect the following variants:>GFP (WT) Clontech 632370, >GFP (WTs65c) based on 632370, >GFP(WTuv)Clontech 632312, >X83959_GFP1 gi|634008|emb|X83959.1|, >X83960_GFP2 gi|634010|emb|X83960.1|, >L29345_GFP gi|606383|gb|L29345.1|, >M62653_GFP gi|155660|gb|M62653.1|, >Tsien_EGFP1 gi|2081984|gb|I41394.1|I41394, >AF324407_AZOVI_GFP gi|26892272|gb|AF324407.1|, >U73901_GFP3 gi|1658074|gb|U73901.1|AVU73901. The probe set has not been tested for potential cross-hybridization to RNA(s) of paralogous and orthologous gene(s) in the same or other species.

Product usage:

Please note that reconstituted probe mix should be subjected to a minimum number of freeze-thaw cycles. For daily and short-term use, the mix can be stored at +2 to +8 °C in the dark for up to a month. For long-term use: We recommend freezing reconstituted probes in the dark at -15 to -30 °C for storage lasting longer than a month. Protocols: Detailed protocols by sample type can be found here: https://www.biosearchtech.com/stellarisprotocols.
