Stellaris® FISH Probes, Human CDKN1A with Quasar® 570 Dye consists of a set of dye-labeled oligos mixed and pooled into a final delivered amount of 5 nmol, which yields approximately 200-400 hybridizations under standard conditions. Designed to detect CDKN1A transcripts in specimens using fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH). Design Criteria: Product was designed against cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor 1A (p21, Cip1) CDKN1A a.k.a. P21; CIP1; SDI1; WAF1; CAP20; CDKN1; MDA-6; p21CIP1 (NCBI gene ID:1026) and nucleotides 119-2157 of NM_000389.4. This is an inclusive probe set designed to also detect the following variants: NM_001220777, NM_001220778, NM_078467 The probe set has not been tested for potential cross-hybridization to RNA(s) of paralogous and orthologous gene(s) in the same or other species.

Product usage:

Please note that reconstituted probe mix should be subjected to a minimum number of freeze-thaw cycles. For daily and short-term use, the mix can be stored at +2 to +8 °C in the dark for up to a month. For long-term use: We recommend freezing reconstituted probes in the dark at -15 to -30 °C for storage lasting longer than a month. Protocols: Detailed protocols by sample type can be found here: https://www.biosearchtech.com/stellarisprotocols.
