Spacer 6 (C6); 3' Modification
The 3-Sp6 modification adds a six carbon spacer to the 3’ end of an oligonucleotide. A 3' Spacer C6 modification will prohibit extension of the oligonucleotide by polymerase activity and prevent ligation of the 3’ end.
