T(C6-Biotin); 5' Modification
The 5-TC6Bio modification incorporates a biotin functionality at the 5' terminus of an oligonucleotide. Biotin binds to avidin or streptavidin conjugates in a variety of fluorescent, chemiluminescent and colorimetric assays. The biotin is conjugated to a modified thymidine which can participate in hybridization.
